Avi Lipkin will be at Calvary Chapel East on Wednesday, August 4th at 7pm.  Avi Lipkin is well known for lecturing in churches and other insitutions in order to spread awareness of radical Islam and the threat that it poses for world peace.

We wish to thank all of you who participated in our \"Blankets & Bibles for Sudan\". We collected 124 blankets and $258 to more than cover the cost of including a Bible and shipping. Also, a big THANK YOU to Carl and Cathy Lovato for taking everything to Bartelsville, OK for us and for saving us A LOT of shipping costs. Well done, all you good and faithful servants!

Burque City Lights is TONIGHT, from 6-8pm.  We will have an encore performance by Pastor Gary and, special musical guests the \"Son Catchers\". We will also be welcoming back our team that went to Wilsey, KS. Join us!

Mark your calendars for Sun, Aug 8th, our special musical guest is Danny Daniels. And, on Fri, Aug 20th, we welcome the musical group \"Two or More\".

The Men of Calvary meet each Tues night at 6pm. Join us as we pray for our church body, our community, and our nation. All men are encourage to attend.

Please mark your calendars for Sun, Aug 29th! We will celebrate the marriage of Adam Cowan and Kathryn Lucero with a church-wide wedding reception. The party begins at 6pm with a potluck dinner and dance. Cards and gifts may be brought at that time. Adam and Kat will be married on Aug 7th in South Carolina.
